About me

Wiktoria, based in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski, Poland. 

 I became involved in photography because of the ability of presenting my point of view

to others. I wanted to share the emotions behind the scenes I had seen connected with the contexts in my head. I still have a need to collect special moments that make me feel like the world is a good place for me. I like to see the world in its harmony. The most beautiful things about it are perfectly matched colors and textures. I’d like to share my point of view which is looking closer to find some schemes and repeatable patterns around us. I am deeply fascinated by human body: skin, features, hair, faces and its similarity to nature: sea waves, sand, sky.

I want people to stop for a second and contemplate the beauty of every body or creation in a closeup. I think it’s important to separate the object we observe from the background to truly notice its charm. On the other hand, I like to explore what my mind has created under the influence of these experiences. It is very fascinating for me that by means of photography I can really bring to life any idea that appears esthetically and emotionally interesting to me. To conclude, my art presents my point of view both on the world and my mind. It is kind of narcissistic to think that my perception is worth exhibiting but I feel like it is my obligation to share my admiration for the world, people and the reality they create simply by fantasizing.
